Step into a world of imagination with Chilli Studios’ Small Wonders Art Trail in the heart of the Ouseburn Valley. Scattered around the area, you’ll discover tiny, magical ceramic doors lovingly created by local artists. Each one is a little treasure waiting to be found!
Grab your map, follow the trail, and see how many doors you can spot. Along the way, enjoy fun quizzes, creative activities, and little surprises that will keep the whole family entertained.
Whether you’re 5 or 95, Small Wonders invites you to slow down, look closer, and see familiar streets in a whole new way. It’s an adventure that celebrates creativity, curiosity, and community.
Created in collaboration with our friends at Roots and Wings, the trail is a joyful way to explore the Ouseburn while letting imaginations run free. So gather your adventurers, sharpen your pencils, and get ready to tick off the doors one by one—you never know what small wonders you’ll discover next!

CLUE 1- Ouseburn Farm is a green oasis in the heart of Newcastle, offering a fab day out for littles & grown-ups!
CLUE 2 - The Find is an independent shop of 29 local artists, makers and sellers, and the stuff they sell here is amazing.
CLUE 3 - Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children's Books, is a museum and visitor centre dedicated to children's literature.
CLUE 6- The Ouseburn Trust provides learning experiences, heritage projects, tours, cultural events and activities whilst supporting the regeneration of Ouseburn.
CLUE 7- The BottleWorks is a fully serviced pop-up gallery and shop space, which can be hired by the week and is a Chilli favourite for exhibitions.
CLUE 4 - Stepney Bank Stables is an urban equestrian centre, providing the amazing wellbeing benefits of access to horses.
