Bob's primary concern is to manage the overall studio service and develop the organisation.
He can be found wearing colourful shirts and drinking strong coffee.
He's based in the Office near the Balcony and often working offsite.
Jo programmes and coordinates the artistic activity and general studio upkeep. She also isn't shy to get her hands mucky and loves to dip into supporting sessions and individual members in any artform. She often runs portfolio, photoshop and animation sessions. Alongside studio work she also project manages the Heads & Tales heritage project.
She can be found throughout the week zipping from one room to another, she may seem busy but don't be shy to stop her and ask for support at any time.
Carole Ann Hall
Carole is the person you pay your membership fees to and deals with general paperwork about the office. She also serves the Charity as a company secretary.
Carole's artistic flare is in ceramics and painting and she runs the ceramics sessions on Wednesdays.
She can be found in the office near the balcony or in the ceramics area.
Support and Inclusion Coordinator
Sarah’s role is to ensure that members and volunteers voices are listened to and heard, creating a safe, inclusive and friendly environment within the studio.
She gives advice around welfare and wellbeing and supports members to find other services to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
Outside of chilli Some of Sarah’s interests include cookery, yoga, photography and puppetry.
Sarah can be found in the office near the Balcony or in the studio.
Alan's role is to ensure members are listened to and supported.
He knows the Studio really well and used to be a member here.
Alan's big passion is Newcastle United and he plays the guitar and crochets (but not at the same time!).
He can be found in the office near the Balcony or in the studio. He's also often making wellbeing calls with Sarah.
Janie provides the studio with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her warm approachable and calming nature ensures creativity thrives every Thursday.
She can be found in the main studio on Thursdays running the Watercolour group and supporting individual's projects.
Music & Creative Writing
Multi-talented Ziad facilitates various sessions at the studio including Music, Creative Writing and Drama. He is a great source of encouragement and inspiration.
If he's not in the studio he is probably somewhere abroad playing to a big crowd with his brilliant band The Baghdaddies.
He can be found on a Wednesday in the Music room or in the studio.
Annabel specialises in ceramic techniques, thrown work and mixing contemporary and ancient techniques. she also has a great interest in Lace work.
She's normally in the ceramics area on a Thursday morning.
Print & Gardening
Dom can be found pottering in the garden or on a Tuesday in the Studio Printing area.
